Crystalline is America's first utopia. It's run by the world's largest social media company, the Janus Corporation. The only people permitted within the city walls are Janus employees with high influencer scores. Inside is a thriving future city, but something is wrong. The Janus Corporation is doing everything to maintain a utopia. From mothers being forced to undergo in utero gene editing to suppression of outside news, the people of Crystalline are trapped inside a horrifying hermit kingdom. On the outside, everyone is hoping to get in, but on the inside, they're clawing to escape.
