Description
The rise of a radio tycoon. He is Jack Lear who after college buys a station in 1930s Boston and marries well. The novel follows his rise as he acquires new stations, radio and TV, and new wives, during World War II a British countess, afterwards an American congresswoman. There is a downside to his success, however, as his children don't turn out too well.
